A frog is any member of a diverse and largely carnivorous group of short-bodied, tailless amphibians composing the order Anura.
What is the difference between a frog and a toad?
There is little real difference between frogs and toads. Toads are simply a type of frog that tends to crawl and dig in the ground. The difference is similar to that of tree frogs which climb, and frogs that spend almost all their time in water.
Do you get frogs in the sea or ocean?
Frogs are almost exclusively fresh water creatures. The crab-eating frog (Fejervarya cancrivora) lives in mangrove swamps and can tolerate short excursions in the sea.
